Flax

This is my OC Flax, as created in the Pony Creator v3, taking a stroll through the woods! Ain't she a beauty?

So, made some modifications to the original design (Say Hello to Flax!) by , in order to suit my decisions regarding her character. She still doesn't have a cutie mark, but that's because I'm lazy.

Flax is a simple country pony, born to a poor family in Appleloosa but having recently moved to Ponyville. She is a tailor, hard-working and well-known for using organic materials in her work. Though attempts to branch out into dressmaking have been limited, Flax is content with her lot in life, and works hard to do her best at her job.

When she was just a filly, there was an unpleasant drought that put her parents in a very tough financial situation. They had to make their own clothes, and Flax's father had to work very long and hard just to keep food on the table.

As her father's birthday drew near, Flax decided she needed to really show some gratitude for all of his hard work. She wanted to make him a hat, something to keep the sun off his brow. Because she was poor, though, Flax had not saved even a single bit. She would have to make one from scratch. The oh-so-important birthday came ever closer, and Flax could not find anything to make a hat out of. With time running out, Flax took a pair of shears to her own tail, and made a hat from the hairs.

Flax wore a long dress for the next few days, only shedding the disguising garment after her father received his gift. He was very touched by her selflessness, and wears the hat proudly to this day.
